The Tatt Room School of Tattooing is located in the borough of Downingtown, Pa. It is on the corner of West Lancaster Avenue and Stuart Avenue. It is a cute studio space that is perfect for a handful of students in the back and then two tattoo chairs in the front for when students are ready to go on real skin. The Tatt Room has plenty of light with a comfortable and calm aesthetic. 

Owner, Monica Barnes, was one of the first women in the state of Pennsylvania to open up a tattoo shop, paving the way for many other women. She has run M&M Tattooing with the help of her loving husband, John, for over 30 years. Monica also teaches cosmetic tattooing with her daughter, Mandy at Sauler Institute of Tattooing, specializing in realistic 3D areolas for breast cancer survivors. In addition, Monica has many other careers that she juggles all while running a highly successful business and now tattoo school.

Monica has taught more people to tattoo than she can even count. She loves the world of tattooing and feels compelled to teach others this very sought after trade. The school will help carry on her legacy as well as make new ones for the artists that enroll in our school.
